Starting to think about production and how it can be pushed further to be more experimental and more representative of the concept of the book, one of the best ideas so far is for the book to take on characteristics of a bouncer, these ideas include:
- Black bound cover because bouncers always wear black; It would be a hard card wrapped with black buckram or maybe even black raincoat material. Depending on whats possible with these materials, this could be embossed or screen printed on.
- A fluorescent strap or sleeve mimicking the ID arm bands that they wear.
- Really thick paper stock - Olin Regular 300gsm, Cyclus recycled 350gsm, iPrint Digital Silk 300gsm.
- Some pages could be folded when bound so that they literally have to be cut open to be read - demonstrating a bouncers immovability and tough exterior.
- Wide dimensions - paper size about 24cm height by 29cm width.
- Fold out pages to make a double length spread featuring really large type.
