Only Studio - Feedback/Critique

I chatted with Matt from Only and showed him my wireframes. The advice he gave me was as follows:

• Scrap the Genius lyrics function; while its a nice feature to have, it is effectively just drawing focus away from the main premise of the app, and doing something which has been done already. Try and focus on the timeline idea; look at design for screen which uses timelines and how you can push its design and UX further to be more bespoke, exciting and intuitive.
• The Alexander Quill header typeface works well at giving the app a distinct visual identity that deviates from that off Spotify, try and push the boat out a bit more with this idea; how can this visual identity be succinct with the whole application?
• The app icons need to be more refined; they’re currently stuck between either being similar to Spotify or individual to this app - try and make them one or the other. 
• Think about body text - send these wireframes to your phone and se what they actually look like on screen; its better to have bigger body text than you need because it will enhance the UI. 

Matt’s advice was really helpful and I’m going to try and do all these things and create a set of more refined designs. Im going to look at researching a bit now, considering the design and aesthetic of some good examples of design for screen.
