Studio Brief 2 - Evaluation

Overall I'm quite happy with the feedback I got for the final crit of this project. It was met fairly well in general with an average rating of about 60%,  I had no big criticisms, more just small tips for improvement, here is a summary of my comments:

·        Each design has a distinct theme from the other with strong research and concept behind them, presentation looks professional.

·        Good research and ideas however most of them good have been developed and experimented with even further.

·        Ideas are well explained especially for the final design, which has good consistency across contexts. However could have explained further why I chose the contexts, also the lettering on the business cards could have been more random, like the posters.

·        Ideas are good and the outcomes work well, however logotype 2 could have been developed more.

·        Could have used a larger range of medias when exploring ideas.

I definitely agree with the comments I received; I think the strongest part of the project was the research and concepts. While I produced some final logotypes that I'm proud of, especially my final design, I think I could have visually explored and experimented with all my ideas even further with a larger range of medias in order to look down every possible avenue.
