Natalia Pawlak is a Polish designer and illustrator. Her work ranges from commercial projects like posters for events, publications and branding, to more personal projects such as prints and artwork. Because she is also an illustrator, her design work has a lot of drawings and imagery in which often have a very symbolic minimal feel to them. I like how these rational simple line drawings are contrasted by the expressive and bold application of colour in a lot of her designs. I also really like how interesting the little illustrations are - faces, snakes, daggers, apples etc. - there’s an engaging and stylish content to her work, and I would quite like to do some more interesting, possibly even illustrative symbols for my work, instead of the slightly blander google ones that I researched.
